Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I have a special early Music Monday update. You can now download the traditional Irish tune Lannigan's Ball for violin, viola, cello, and double bass!
The Bach Prelude has also been updated a second time to be more accurate to the original. Enjoy

Can you complete the Dexterity Etude Challenge? Challenge 1: Play through the first page of the Dexterity Etudes without stopping. Challenge 2: Play through the second page of the Dexterity Etudes Challenge 3: Play through page 3 We are slowly building our patriotic song collection. Today "America the Beautiful" is available for download. All of these songs have the lyrics included with the music!
There are new editions of the Bach Prelude from Cello Suite no.1, Boil 'em Cabbage Down, and the Bass Major Scale Book in the Downloads page. The new editions are easier to read, have new bowing, and more accurate notes.
If anyone has noticed anything else that is incorrect or difficult to read please let me know. I am happy to improve upon music on my site. Thank you -Shawn  Almost half way done with this week. I am touring the Waterford School District with McCourt's Music showing instruments, and letting all of the 5th graders in the district try them out.

The Prelude to the first Bach Cello Suite is available for download now. The full classical album has been updated to include the music as well. This is the first piece to not be in the same key signature across all four instruments. The viola, cello, and double bass is in G Major, while the violin part is in D major. I have uploaded a recording of one of a fantastic sounding piece. It is a viola quartet called Traveling Music by Michael Kimber. All three movements are in the same recording.
I also changed the way the media section is organized. It is now two pages instead of one. Every Monday will now be Music Monday! That will be the day that I upload new music. This new change will make it easier for you to know when to check in for new changes, and I can keep on a schedule. This upcoming Monday you will be able to download the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No.1 for violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
